Bark & Mane in Northwest Arkansas is hiring an experienced Pet Groomer for our mobile grooming service. We provide one-on-one grooming in clients' driveways with a focus on skilled, compassionate care. This role emphasizes grooming excellence, animal welfare, and customer communication.

Groomers work in a supportive environment with continued education opportunities and a fully equipped Mercedes-Benz van. No degree required; experience preferred and scheduling offers flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience with dog grooming techniques and breed standards.
• Strong animal handling skills and ability to work with pets of different temperaments.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Patience and compassion for animals and owners.
• Physical stamina to lift and handle pets and work in a mobile salon.

Responsibilities

• Bathe, brush, and dry pets, ensuring coats are clean and well-maintained.
• Trim and style fur based on breed standards or owner preferences.
• Clip nails, clean ears, and brush teeth as part of routine grooming care.
• Identify and report skin conditions, parasites, or abnormalities to owners.
• Handle pets with care to ensure comfort and safety during grooming.
• Maintain a clean and organized mobile grooming salon following sanitation protocols.
• Communicate grooming needs and instructions to pet owners.
• Manage pet behavior using calming techniques for anxious pets.
• Provide feedback to owners on grooming experience and health concerns.
