Job summary

Bark & Mane offers mobile pet grooming services in the Arnold, MD area. We are seeking a passionate mobile groomer to join our team and provide full-service grooming at clients' doorsteps.

In this role, you will travel to client locations, groom both dogs and cats, and maintain high standards of care and safety. The position features a part-time schedule with opportunities for advancement and training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely handle and restrain animals of all sizes and temperaments.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of pet safety, skin/coat health, and grooming best practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform full-service grooming on dogs and cats, including bathing, drying, brushing, haircuts, and finishing.
• Operate and maintain a mobile grooming van, traveling to client locations throughout the service area.
• Safely handle pets of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments with patience and care.
• Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding grooming preferences, coat conditions, and pet behavior.
• Perform nail trimming, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and other hygiene services as requested.
• Keep the mobile grooming unit clean, sanitized, and fully stocked between appointments.
• Manage a daily appointment schedule efficiently to ensure timely service.
