Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a PET/CT Technologist to operate PET/CT scanners and deliver high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes. You will work in a patient-centered environment, explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort while following professional standards.

This full-time mobile position offers 40 hours weekly, 6:30am-5:00pm, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and DailyPay options. An ARRT/NMTCB eligible or certified technologist, state licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Must be NMTCB or ARRT registered technologist in Nuclear Medicine, current and in good standing.
• Graduate of the AMA approved school of radiography.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in the applicable state.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be capable of performing PET/CT procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screens patient before exam using two identifiers.
• Explain and position patient for PET/CT imaging procedures.
• Perform routine and advanced PET/CT imaging with minimal supervision.
• Adjust scan parameters and apply dose reduction techniques.
• Maintain records in RIS and keep workspace clean and safe.
• Comply with HIPAA and safety regulations.
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals per NRC/State policies.
• Perform QC procedures and monitor equipment as required.
• Assist with training and support department staff.
