Qualifications

• Education:Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic Technology program.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS/ALS and current license by Texas Medical Board (MRT).
• ARRT‑N or NMTCB certification required.
• If performing diagnostic CT, ARRT‑CT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs nuclear medicine exams; explains procedures; administers radiopharmaceuticals; maps radiopharmaceuticals with imaging equipment.
• Enters and monitors patient data.
• Performs quality assurance on imaging equipment.
• Assist with accreditation applications as needed.
• Identifies and reports accidents, complaints or equipment malfunctions.
