Job summary

Benevis, a national leader in pediatric dental care, is seeking a Mobile Anesthesiologist to support our Pediatric Dentist during in-office surgery days. The role focuses on delivering anesthesia services within a dental practice, adapting to varied clinical settings alongside the dental team.

Ideal candidates have an accredited Anesthesiology Residency, current license, and certifications (PALS, BLS, DEA).

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Current, valid medical or dental license in good standing.
• Required certifications include PALS, BLS, DEA, and others as appropriate.
• Demonstrated capability in anesthesia delivery, including intravenous deep sedation and general anesthesia.
• Ability to work closely with dental teams, including surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level anesthesia care to pediatric patients during office-based surgery days.
• Deliver specialized anesthesiology services within a dental practice, adapting to different clinical environments.
• Collaborate with Pediatric Dentists to optimize patient cooperation through airway management and anesthesia.
• Focus on patients requiring more than local anesthesia, including anxious or special needs pediatric patients.
