Colonial Group is seeking a Surgical Technician to support operation rooms across the Phoenix area. The role involves selecting and providing surgical instruments, sutures, and sterile supplies during procedures to ensure smooth case flow.

The technician will prep instruments, anticipate surgeon needs, maintain aseptic standards, and assist with OR turnover. Strong organization and the ability to remain calm in emergent situations are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required; state registration where applicable.
• Must maintain professional decorum in highly stressful emergent situations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for surgical procedures and pulls appropriate instruments and supplies.
• Anticipates surgeon's needs and passes instruments during surgery.
• Demonstrates aseptic technique and universal precautions throughout procedures.
• Assists with turnover between cases and stocking of supplies.
• May provide administrative support to the department as needed.
