Job summary

A Doctor of Optometry position with a mobile practice in Des Moines, IA, offers daily travel to different facilities to perform comprehensive eye exams and deliver high-quality care to diverse patients.

You will lead a scheduler and 1–2 technicians, coordinate with staff, manage 12–30 patients per day, and ensure smooth operations with clear communication about diagnoses and treatments.

Qualifications

• Valid state optometry license or in process of obtaining one.
• Driver's license in good standing.
• Fourth-year optometry students are invited to apply.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and provide high-quality optometric care to patients.
• Lead and coordinate with support staff to ensure smooth daily operations at different facilities.
• Manage care for 12 to 30 patients daily, depending on facility and team support.
