Job summary

Vision To Learn is seeking a licensed optometrist to join our mobile clinical team on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii. This part-time role offers $600 per day, with no nights and no weekends, and focuses on high-quality eye exams and delivering glasses to students in underserved communities.

Candidates must be Hawaii-licensed, able to travel across Oahu (and possibly to other islands if needed), and pass a DOJ background check plus drug test.

Qualifications

• Must pass Department of Justice background check (LiveScan) and drug test.
• Hawaii optometrist license required.
• Ability to travel across the island of Oahu and possibly to other Hawaiian islands.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision evaluations: check VA’s, assess binocular vision, IOP, pupils, refraction, and prescribe correction.
• Prescribe vision devices and instruct patients on proper use of them.
• Confirm that patient diagnoses are documented in internal systems.
