Job summary

Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to join our mobile care team in Kokomo, IN. This independent contractor role focuses on providing on-site eye care to geriatric and underserved populations, with all scheduling, equipment, and billing handled by CMC.

You will conduct routine eye exams, refractions, and vision screenings, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, prescribe lenses, and educate facilities staff on eye health.

Qualifications

• OD degree and Indiana license required.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; geriatric or mobile care preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills in ocular disease management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine eye exams, refractions, and vision screenings.
• Diagnose and manage ocular diseases common among geriatric patients.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and coordinate with optical labs.
• Educate patients and facility staff on eye health and preventive care.
