Job summary

National Oilwell Varco is seeking a skilled assembler for mobile oilfield service equipment in Fort Worth, TX. You will assemble, repair, and test units using standard tools and procedures, ensuring quality and correct parts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in assembly preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED Preferred.
• Ability to pass a Health Screening.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand/stoop/sit for 8 hours.
• Performs basic/repetitive tasks following established company procedures.
• Takes direction and works under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the safe assembly, build, repair, and/or test a variety of new and older mobile oilfield service equipment using standard and/or non-standard tools, equipment, and procedures.
• Follow all applicable company policies, guiding principles, procedures and programs; including health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Supply your own tools; a minimum recommendation list is available. The company will lend some atypical tools for temporary use.
• All other duties as assigned
• Demonstrate the capability to work independently or in a team on complex and multiple projects requiring judgment to resolve problems
