Job summary

NOV is seeking a hands-on technician to participate in the safe assembly, build, repair, and testing of mobile oilfield service equipment. You will use standard and non-standard tools, ensuring quality parts and compliance with procedures.

You will perform electrical and electronics installation, repair and troubleshooting from drawings and schematics, while applying applicable codes and safety regulations. Teamwork and independent problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–5+ years’ experience in related field.
• Experience with electronics, electrical code, safety practices, and electrical schematics.
• Oilfield maintenance/repair experience with NOV CT/PP or related systems is a plus.
• Ability to work with a diverse group of employees.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the safe assembly, build, repair, and test mobile oilfield service equipment using standard and non-standard tools and procedures.
• Perform electrical and electronics installation, repair and troubleshooting using drawings, schematics and applicable codes.
• Read equipment specifications, charts, schematics, blueprints and instructions.
• Demonstrate the capability to work independently or in a team on complex projects requiring judgment to resolve problems.
• Complete and maintain various records and documentation.
• May assist with training new employees in assembly operations as required.
