Job summary

DOCS Health seeks Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors serving military service members in VA and distributed sites. The role emphasizes weekend work with some weekday shifts under RHRP, traveling to remote installations as needed.

Your responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing histories, interviewing personnel, and documenting readiness classifications in a proprietary system. Prior mobile health experience and adaptability to high volumes are valued.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in the state.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or occupational health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, medical records, and questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health.
• Document interview results in the service member’s medical record.
