Job summary

Dentrust Optimized Care Solutions is seeking Physician Assistants to join as independent contractors supporting military service members. The role emphasizes weekend coverage with occasional weekdays, conducting health assessments, reviewing records, and documenting readiness classifications in our systems.

Applicants should hold an active PA license, CPR/BLS, and have experience in primary or occupational health. Travel to remote military installations and extended hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Active PA license in the state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health is preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services is preferred.
• Knowledge of Military systems, protocols, and terminology is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Able to travel and work weekends is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, including Behavioral Health.
• Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
