Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to support military service members through mobile dental care, including exams, treatments, X-rays, and chair-side assistance. You will work in mobile exam rooms to help ensure deployment readiness.

Credentials and radiology certification are required; weekend availability is expected. The role offers part-time hours with biweekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and per diem, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification (CDA, RDA, EDDA, EFDA) and Radiology Certification in Alaska, CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled in 4-handed dentistry and proficient with digital tools.
• Background check, criminal record check, and drug screening required; base entry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dental care in mobile exam rooms and operatories to ensure deployment readiness.
• Capture digital X-rays (BW & PANO) and perform instrument sterilization.
• Provide chair-side assistance and perform basic administrative duties as needed.
