Job summary

Akumin Inc. is seeking dependable CDL Class A truck drivers for local deliveries of medical diagnostic equipment in Lexington, KY. You will drive tractor trailers, set up and tear down medical equipment at hospitals and clinics, and transport 1–2 trailers per night on dedicated routes.

A 4–6 week training program will acquaint you with routes and safety procedures. Shifts run 2 PM–6 PM start to 12 AM–4 AM finish, totaling 8–10 hour shifts, 4–5 times a week, with some weekend nights.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A license and clean driving record.
• Ability to operate tractors/trailers and set up medical equipment.
• Experience driving large, heavy tractor trailers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive 1-2 trailers per night to hospitals and clinics.
• Set up and tear down medical equipment at delivery sites.
• Complete required training to learn routes (4–6 weeks).

**Mobile Medical Trailer Truck Driver CDL Dedicated Routes - Full Time Nights****Akumin Inc****$27 - $33 an hour** depending on experience and locationPaid training, 401(k), Health insurance, Paid time off, Vision insurance, Dental insurance**Location: Lexington, KY****Full job description**We are seeking dependable and efficient CDL Class A truck drivers to drive tractor trailers for local deliveries of medical diagnostic equipment. Must be organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working independently. A clean driving record and commercial driving experience is a must.CDL-A drivers are responsible for the safe and timely movement of tractor trailers configured for mobile medical imaging (MRI, PET & CT mobile units).**Detailed Job Description**The MRI/CT techs in the mobile units scan during the day, so drivers will move trailers at night to locations where appointments are scheduled. Drivers report to designated parking location daily to pick up their truck, then drive to hospitals & medical clinics. Once the Driver arrives at a client location, they drop off or pick up their trailer. Set up and tear down requires drivers to get out of their truck and unload or pack up the trailer, 30-45 minutes. Drivers will typically transport 1-2 trailers a night. Drivers will be provided training for 4-6 weeks to learn the routes and to learn how to set up/tear down trailers.**Shift & Schedule**Hours: 2PM to 6PM start / 12AM to 4AM finishEmployees work 8 -10 hour shifts 4-5 times a week.
