Job summary

APPS Paramedical conducts mobile medical exams for life, health, and disability insurance applications across Georgia. Independent contractors perform exams in clients’ homes or offices, handling tasks like blood draws, vital signs, and 12-lead EKGs with strict compliance and confidentiality.

Exams last from 15 minutes to about an hour. Orientation is 6 hours; equipment such as tablets and EKG machines are provided or can be rented.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience, and familiarity with taking vital signs.
• Familiarity with tablets/computers and scanners is a must.
• Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health.
• EKG experience is preferred but not required.
• References, background check and drug test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile medical exams at client homes or offices.
• Complete exams including blood draws, vital signs, and EKGs as required.
• Coordinate with insurance companies and report results accurately.
