Job summary

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center in Williamsburg, VA is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography screenings on our Mobile unit based at the hospital. The role features a Flexi schedule with rotating shifts to serve Hampton Roads.

You will perform and analyze diagnostic and interventional mammography procedures while conducting quality control/QA and upholding radiation safety and patient care standards.

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT Mammography Certification.
• ARRT Registry or Registry eligible graduate; must obtain registry within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography screenings on Sentara Mobile unit based at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center.
• Perform and analyze all diagnostic and interventional mammography procedures.
• Carry out all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by state, federal, and local agencies.
• Provide excellent patient care and adhere to radiation safety standards at all times.
