Job summary

Shared Medical Services seeks a Medical Imaging Assistant to support our mobile mammography team. The role offers a stable part-time schedule, working on a state-of-the-art mobile scanner and serving local communities through our SMS ONETEAM.

You will escort patients, set up equipment at locations, and handle light administrative duties while maintaining patient confidentiality and safety standards. Training provided and opportunities for growth within SMS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to drive or experience driving 26' straight truck SMS is willing to train.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license (CDL not required).
• Must have an acceptable driving record.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check, urine drug screen and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients from the facility to the mobile unit, ensuring patient comfort, safety and confidentiality.
• Relocate the vehicle to facilities along a dedicated route in accordance with DOT rules and regulations.
• Set up and tear down the trailer at each location.
• Complete administrative tasks such as time/activity reports, billing drivers logs and inspection forms.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Medical Imaging Assistant to join our growing Mammography team Unlike typical travel roles this position offers a unique opportunity to work on a state of the art mobile scanner while serving local and diverse communities This role provides flexibility of different environments while being a part of a stable full time employee centric organization Youll have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with various healthcare facilities and become a key member of our Shared Medical Services ONETEAM Anticipated Schedule Scanner route runs Monday Friday shift variesOccasional overnights

Responsibilities

• You will assist in the patient care capacity by escorting patients from the medical facility to the mobile unit while ensuring excellent patient care comfort safety and confidentiality we will train you
• Safely relocate the equivalent to 26 straight truck to medical facilities along a dedicated route in accordance with DOT rules and regulations
• At each location you will conduct set up and tear down of the trailer
• Some administrative tasks required including timeactivity reports billing drivers logs and any applicable maintenance mileage or inspection forms
