Job summary

Compass Palliative Care is seeking a licensed vocational nurse to see patients in their homes across South LA and Central LA, driving as needed. This 100% mobile role requires monitoring patient conditions, documenting care, and following care plans with compassionate support.

Previous LVN hospice experience is preferred but not required; candidates must have basic medical knowledge, the ability to work independently, strong communication, and a valid driver's license and insurance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
• Previousexperience as an LVN in Hospice or similar role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report changes in clients' condition to healthcare professionals.
• Document all care provided and maintain accurate medical records.
• Follow established care plans and assist with implementing therapeutic interventions.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
