Job Summary

Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to join Corcoran Fleet Services. Provide preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, light repairs, diagnostics, and other duties at customer locations. Full travel required. Work on vehicles such as F150, F250, F350 and specialty equipment.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Follow safe operating practices and procedures.
• Travel to customer locations to perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections, and follow‑up repairs.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Use hand tools, precision instruments, diesel tools, lifts, and jacks.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, starter/alternator, fan clutch, engine, transmission, clutch, differential, and other systems.
• Use test instruments (scanners, pressure gauges, etc.) to diagnose malfunctions.
• Determine parts required, order and retrieve parts for installation.
• Document work, upload photos, and complete DOT and other required forms promptly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment; assist with daily cleanup of tools and parts.
• Communicate with corporate support for repair estimate approvals, purchase orders, and repair order notes.
• Participate in required safety training and maintain assigned service vehicle with daily pre/post‑trip inspections.
• Act with integrity, maintain confidentiality, and meet standard repair time goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Minimum 1 year experience as an Automotive Technician on light/medium vehicle repair or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Minimum 2 years equivalent experience in a similar technician role.
• Must possess a set of hand tools required for the position.
• Ability to lift, bend, climb, stand, and walk for long periods; perform moderately heavy labor.
• Completion of all required company training.
