Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Light/Medium Duty Automotive Technician to join Corcoran Fleet Services to support our growth. The role will perform preventative maintenance inspections, light repairs, and diagnostics at customer locations, with travel requiring overnight stays as needed.

The schedule alternates weekly between Mon-Fri and Mon-Sat, and the position is flat-rate with pay based on flag hours. Opportunities exist for training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• One year of Automotive Technician experience on light/medium vehicles.
• Two years of equivalent experience in a similar technician role.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willingness to travel up to three weeks per month.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and light repairs on light/medium vehicles.
• Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and electronic systems.
• Complete DOT inspections and related repairs.
• Travel to customer locations, often outside the facility, with overnight stays as needed.
• Maintain tools and vehicle cleanliness, and document work orders.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper paperwork (ROs, DOT forms).
