Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Mobile Inspector - Level 2 to conduct on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory. You will document condition details per inspection standards and support client trust and marketplace transparency.

The role emphasizes independence, attention to safety, and strong dealer engagement to grow participation in mobile inspection services. A valid driver’s license and automotive experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of related field experience.
• 1-2 years automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to meet physical and mental demands of the role within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct detailed and complex vehicle inspections.
• Manage daily inspection schedules efficiently across dealer locations.
• Build strong working relationships with dealer clients.
• Utilize data and insights to expand inspection volume and efficiency.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and team collaboration.
• USD 16.59 - 24.86 per hour.
