Job summary

The Mobile Inspector – Level 2 at Cox Automotive is responsible for independently conducting on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients within an assigned territory, ensuring accurate documentation per Manheim standards and maintaining strong dealer relationships. This role supports growth of mobile inspection services and requires minimal supervision with increasing independence.

Work is performed in a hybrid setting with opportunities to work remotely part of the week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED plus 3+ years of experience in a related field.
• 1–2 years of automotive-related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct detailed and complex vehicle inspections.
• Manage daily inspection schedules across dealer locations.
• Build strong working relationships with dealer clients.
