Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking a Part-Time In-Home Veterinarian to serve San Diego, CA, including surrounding areas. In this mobile role, you will provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care directly in clients' homes, helping families during meaningful moments.

The position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to balance professional fulfillment with personal life, joining a nationwide network of veterinarians delivering humane care in familiar settings.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license required.
• Weekend availability required (some weekends).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in a in-home/mobile setting.
• Practice veterinary medicine in patients' homes as part of Lap of Love's mobile team.
• Support families during difficult moments with professional and empathetic communication.
