Lap of Love invites you to join our veterinary hospice team in Joliet, IL, serving surrounding areas with mobile in-home services. We value balance, purpose, and professional fulfillment as you provide compassionate care to pets and families in their homes.

You’ll join a community of veterinarians with mentors, ongoing training, and a dedicated support center, enabling you to practice with autonomy while supported by our infrastructure.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in their homes.
• Conduct in-home veterinary visits and consultations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the Lap of Love team to ensure quality care.
• Contribute to a supportive, mentorship-driven culture and take part in ongoing professional development.
