Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Omaha, Fort Calhoun, Waterloo, Springfield, Bennington, Boys Town, NE and nearby areas. You’ll deliver hospice and euthanasia care in clients’ homes, providing compassionate medicine with flexibility and work-life balance.

This mobile role emphasizes autonomy and personal connection, supported by mentors, onboarding, and a 24/7/365 help center.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in-home.
• Practice in-home/mobile veterinary medicine across Omaha and surrounding NE areas.
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team and scheduling for patient care.
