Job summary
Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian for CA communities including San Fernando, Burbank and Simi Valley. Join a mobile veterinary team delivering compassionate hospice and euthanasia care at clients' homes.
The role emphasizes flexible 2–5 day-per-week schedules with 3–4 un-rushed appointments daily, ongoing mentorship, and a supportive 24/7/365 center. Compensation includes base salary with bonus opportunities in a mission-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) degree required.
- Valid U.S. driver's license required.
- Availability to work some weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
- Background and motor vehicle record check post-hire and before start date.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
- Work across San Fernando, Burbank, Simi Valley, Moorpark, Stevenson Ranch, CA and surrounding areas.
- Maintain high clinical standards and collaborate with Lap of Love team for support and mentorship.
