Job Overview

PIRTEK Akron, a leading provider of on‑site hydraulic and industrial hose replacement, is hiring a Hydraulic Hose Technician to install and repair hydraulic hoses on industrial and mobile equipment in the Akron, OH area. The position is full‑time and requires availability for after‑hours and weekend service calls.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic hose systems on‑site for industrial and mobile equipment
• Fabricate and install hydraulic hoses and fittings in the field
• Lead and train technicians as needed
• Maintain service vehicle inventory and equipment
• Complete work orders and documentation accurately and on time
• Provide excellent customer service during all service calls
• Participate in on‑call rotations and respond to emergency service calls after hours and on weekends
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of mechanical experience (automotive, heavy equipment, industrial repair or related industries)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hydraulic systems
• Experience with industrial equipment and outdoor work is a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
• Self‑motivated and dependable
