Armstrong Air & Heating is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to service residential and commercial clients in Tampa, Florida. The role includes inspecting HVAC systems, performing repairs and installations, and ensuring all equipment runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• One year of professional HVAC repair experience.
• Reliable and self-motivated with a clean driving record.
• Nate Certification and own tools.

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients’ locations for service.
• Inspect HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance.
• Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems.

Skills

Braze and solder metals to connect piping

Service, install & repair air ducts and units

Install and calibrate thermostats

Inspect inoperative units to determine causes

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment

Education

Completion of HVAC training program

Current state HVAC technician license

Certification through the EPA for refrigerants

Tools

Manual and power tools
