Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and euthanasia services. You will practice on the road, spending meaningful time with families in the comfort of their homes, listening, explaining, and guiding them through difficult decisions with empathy.

You’ll work independently with robust team support, choose from 2–5 day-per-week options and self-managed scheduling, and benefit from a base salary with quarterly

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• License verification and driving record review before start date.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and 90 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care.
• Travel to client homes and support families during difficult moments.
• Consult with pet owners to answer questions with kindness and empathy.
• Maintain patient records and collaborate with a care team.
