Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care, meeting families where their pets feel safest. You will work independently in mobile practice with strong team support, mentorship, and ongoing well-being initiatives from day one.

Choose from 5-day, 4-day, or 2-3 day full-time and self-managed part-time schedules. Guaranteed base salary with generous quarterly bonuses, plus comprehensive benefits and no non-compete.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• License verification, background check, and driving record review required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and end-of-life care for pets.
• Communicate with families with compassion and clarity.
• Offer flexible scheduling with 2–5 day-per-week options and self-managed scheduling called DVM Flex-Scheduling.
