Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice & In-Home Euthanasia asks veterinarians to practice medicine that matters, delivering compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care. You’ll work on the road, visiting homes, and taking time with families at a pace that respects the pet's story.

You’ll choose a schedule built around your life—5-day, 4-day, or 2–3 day/full-time with self-managed options—plus generous benefits and a supportive mentorship culture.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) is required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License is required.
• Weekends on your terms; choose 4 weekend days per month that fit your life.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 90 lbs with assistance.
• All candidates will complete license verification, a background check, and a driving record review before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home hospice and euthanasia care.
• Practice medicine with time and presence for families in the home.
• Support grieving families with dignity and empathy, on each visit.
