Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to practice end-of-life care in families’ homes. You’ll work on the road, providing in-home euthanasia with time to listen, explain, and honor each pet’s story in a quiet, meaningful setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed veterinarian with DVM; must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to perform in-home euthanasia and home-based care.
• Weekend availability or flexibility as required by client visits.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home end-of-life veterinary care with compassion and empathy.
• Practice medicine on the road, visiting clients’ homes to support families.
• Provide guidance and support to families, ensuring dignity and comfort during pet’s final moments.
• Operate with flexible scheduling and no mandatory fixed rotations.
