Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is seeking compassionate veterinarians to practice end-of-life medicine in a home setting across the New York metropolitan area. You’ll work independently on the road, with on‑demand mentorship and a supportive team, dedicating time to families on their pets’ final journey.

Choose from 5-, 4-, or 2–3‑day full‑time or self‑managed schedules with guaranteed salary and generous quarterly bonuses. Requires DVM/VMD/BVMS and a valid U.S.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License.
• Willing to perform in-home hospice and end-of-life care.
• Background check and license verification conducted prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate end-of-life veterinary care in patients' homes.
• Communicate with families to answer questions and explain options.
• Work with mentoring team and schedule patient visits.
• Maintain professionalism and uphold patients' dignity during difficult times.
