Heartstrings Pet Hospice, In-Home Euthanasia & Aftercare serves the East Bay, Oakland, Berkeley and Richmond areas with compassionate end-of-life care for pets in the comfort of their homes. We are seeking veterinarians who value meaningful work, not rushed visits, and the ability to practice on the road with mentorship and strong team support.

Qualifications

• DVM required and licensed to practice in the United States.
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes and travel between visits.
• Strong communication skills with grieving families and pet guardians.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care to pets in the client’s home.
• Practice medicine on the road with time to listen and explain in a compassionate manner.
• Support families during end-of-life decisions with dignity and empathy.
