Job summary

Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a Mobile Hose Service Technician to travel to customer locations and build hydraulic hose assemblies on-site. You will operate a mobile van, inspect and measure hoses, and replace worn components while maintaining inventory.

The role requires lifting capability, a valid driver's license, and a willingness to obtain forklift certification. A strong emphasis on safety and customer service is core to success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Valid, active driver's license.
• Ability to clear driver screenings and provide necessary information for a complete DQ file, including background check and MVR with less than 10 points.
• DOT Physical required.
• Drug Screen required.
• Ability to become forklift certified and adhere to safety standards.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively and occasionally more with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain mobile hydraulic hose van in established territory.
• Inspect, measure and assemble hydraulic hoses at customer sites.
• Remove and replace hydraulic hoses on construction and industrial equipment.
• Maintain mobile workshop and inventory.
• Develop customer relationships and prospect for new business.
• Participate in safety program and work in a safe manner.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.

What You Will Be Doing:

As the Mobile Hose Service Technician, you will travel to customer work locations to build hydraulic hose assemblies and install them on-site.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain mobile hydraulic hose van in established territory
• Inspect, identify, measure and build hydraulic hoses on work sites
• Remove and replace hydraulic hoses on construction and industrial equipment
• Maintain mobile workshop and inventory
• Develop customer relationships and prospect for new business

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should possess a strong sense of urgency and desire to provide superior customer service. The ability to take direction and work in a team environment is essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with and basic knowledge of hydraulics beneficial.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Experience with hydraulic manufacturing machines beneficial.
