Altec is seeking a skilled equipment mechanic to service and repair heavy equipment across the U.S. and Canada. The role involves replacing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components, using manuals and technical resources to troubleshoot, and performing unit inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to move objects up to 75 pounds and frequent bending/squatting.
• Develop basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Use manuals and resources to troubleshoot and identify repair parts.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and generate reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Follow Altec safety practices and procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation for all required forms.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and company values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
