Job summary

Custom Truck One Source in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a skilled field service technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain truck-mounted equipment at customer sites, with occasional shop support.

You will troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, read manuals and schematics, use diagnostic software, complete documentation, and travel within and beyond your territory while upholding safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of related field or shop experience.
• CDL Class B preferred.
• Must provide own mechanic tools.
• Proficient in documenting work and time.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain bucket trucks/aerial devices, digger derricks, truck-mounted cranes, hydraulic equipment.
• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and on-site diagnostics.
• Read manuals, schematics, and repair orders.
• Use laptops and diagnostic software to identify issues.
• Complete documentation accurately (repair orders, timecards).
• Communicate with customers and CTOS teams to minimize downtime.
• Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Travel within and beyond assigned territory.
