Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pet Groomer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of pets, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, clipping, and styling for dogs and cats of various breeds. We use Mercedes Sprinter Vans converted by Wag n Tails.
• Assess the health and condition of pets prior to grooming and report any concerns to pet owners.
• Use appropriate animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for both the pet and the groomer.
• Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and equipment, as well as the grooming area.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' needs.
• Keep detailed records of services performed on each pet.
• Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to provide the best care possible.

Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in pet grooming required.
• Skills in animal handling, including knowledge of dog training and behavior, are highly valued.
• Experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is a plus.
• Familiarity with pet care practices such as pet sitting or equine care can enhance your candidacy.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their pets.
