Job summary

On Demand Kare in Kentucky is seeking a compassionate General Dentist to provide comprehensive care primarily through mobile dental vans, supporting clinics, events, and outreach across the state. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and collaboration with hygienists, assistants, and staff.

Kentucky license and DDS/DMD required; enjoy a dynamic, community-focused practice environment.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school.
• Active Kentucky dental license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current professional certifications and credentials required to practice dentistry in Kentucky.
• Experience as a licensed dentist preferred; new graduates are welcome.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to high-quality care.
• Excellent communication and ability to build trust with patients of diverse ages.
• Willingness to work in mobile and community-care environments.
• Proficient with electronic patient records and dental technology.
• Dependable, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental exams and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide preventive, restorative, emergency, and general dentistry services.
• Conduct procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, dentures, root canals.
• Explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly to patients.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and treatment notes.
• Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and staff to coordinate care.
• Follow infection-control and safety standards.
• Support mobile clinics and outreach programs as scheduled.
• Travel to approved Kentucky service locations.
