Job summary

Raymour & Flanigan Furniture and Mattresses in Lowell, MA is seeking a Home Furniture Repair Technician to travel to customers’ homes to assess and complete furniture repairs. You will demonstrate professionalism, communicate to sell service agreements, and work independently or with a team while maintaining the service vehicle and adhering to safety guidelines.

This role requires two years of repair experience with wood, leather, and upholstery, a valid driver's license, and a high school

Qualifications

• Two years experience with wood furniture, leather, fabric & upholstery.
• Must have a cleared motor vehicle record and a valid driver’s license.
• Color matching and blending skills.
• Wood repairs including burn-ins & wood graining; leather repairs including scuffs, holes and tears; upholstery repairs including structural/mechanism replacements.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Flexible schedule based on our customer delivery schedule.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Organize and manage time independently.
• Perform additional functions that may be assigned at the discretion of management.

Physical Requirements

• Making repairs to furniture requires lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping and moving furniture items to accommodate the repairs necessary to satisfy the customer.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
