Job summary

ABM Industries is recruiting a Traveling Floor Technician to maintain carpet and hard surface floors across client sites. This role requires extensive travel (up to 75%), with nightly or weekly lodging and transportation provided.

You will supervise a small team, perform floor care tasks, report maintenance needs, and ensure safety and quality standards are met while delivering excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Availability to travel overnight on the road for up to a week at a time.
• Current driver's license required.
• Willingness to travel to different states.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains buildings; floor care, carpet extraction, glass cleaning, and general janitorial duties.
• Notify managers about repairs or enhancements to building systems.
• Lead a team of floor cleaning technicians and supervise daily tasks.
