Job summary

Epika Fleet Services is seeking experienced technicians for Fleet Mobile Maintenance to service Class 8 tractors and trailers. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on mobile calls or in-yard, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

The role offers weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses while supporting a family-oriented team. Applicants should have 5+ years of repair experience, a valid license, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and comfort with billing systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing Commercial Tractor and Trailers.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record & no suspensions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Comfortable working with Computers for billing and work orders.
• Follows verbal and written work orders to stay on track with daily repairs.
• Confident explaining a diagnosis over the phone and helping the customer decide next steps on repairs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, inspect and repair Class 8 Commercial Tractors Trailers, their bodies, systems and components.
• Write detailed work orders - performing Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard.
• Provide quality customer service, including responding promptly to client queries.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspecting, servicing, and replacing tractor and trailer parts, including tires, hubs, and axles, adjusting or replacing as required.
• Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic system; test all systems and equipment for performance issues.
• Ensure that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation's road safety requirements.
• Compile inspection reports, documenting repairs, and reporting all findings to management.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, inspect and repair our customers Class 8 Commercial Tractors Trailers, their bodies, systems and components.
• Writing detailed work orders - working Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard.
