Job summary

Epika Fleet Services, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Fleet Technician to perform on-site repairs and preventative maintenance on commercial tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and service while communicating clearly to keep operations moving and DOT standards in place.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a hands-on service environment.
• Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation.
• Welding experience a plus.
• Self-motivated and independent mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial tractors and trailers on mobile road calls and in-yard service.
• Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication.
• Inspect and service brakes, electrical and hydraulic systems, hubs, axles, tires, bodies, and trailer components.
• Perform preventative maintenance and test equipment for safe, reliable performance.
• Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, and findings for management.
• Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• 4+ years’ experience repairing commercial tractors and trailers; mobile repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL preferred
• Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a hands-on service environment
• Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation
• Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently
• Experience with welding a plus
• Self-motivated and independent mindset
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school degree a plus
