Job summary

Epika Fleet Services in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Mobile Fleet Technician to provide on-site service to a growing network of customers. You’ll diagnose, repair, and service commercial trailers, tractors, and fleet equipment on mobile road calls and in-yard, with a focus on trailer repair.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of trailer repair experience, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift 100+ pounds, and basic computer and communication skills.

• 5+ years of experience repairing commercial trailers
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Hands-on strength to lift 100+ pounds
• Basic computer and communication skills
• Welding experience is a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school degree a plus
• CDL-A is a plus
• Your own tools and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers, tractors, and fleet equipment on mobile road calls and in-yard service, with emphasis on trailer repair
• Inspect and service trailers including bodies, brakes, suspension, hubs, axles, tires, and electrical and hydraulic systems
• Perform diesel mechanic work on tractors and fleet equipment, including engine, drivetrain, brake, and electrical diagnostics and repair
• Perform welding, fabrication, and structural trailer repairs to keep equipment safe, reliable, and DOT-compliant
• Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication; service area extends ~50 miles across the greater Philadelphia/South Jersey corridor
• Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management
• Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet USDOT road safety requirements

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial trailers, tractors, and fleet equipment—on mobile road calls and in-yard service, with a heavy emphasis on trailer repair.
• Inspect and service trailers including bodies, brakes, suspension, hubs, axles, tires, and electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Perform diesel mechanic work on tractors and fleet equipment, including engine, drivetrain, brake, and electrical diagnostics and repair.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and structural trailer repairs to keep equipment safe, reliable, and DOT-compliant.
• Keep customers moving by delivering prompt, professional service and clear communication. Service area extends roughly 50 miles across the greater Philadelphia/South Jersey corridor.
• Document work accurately through detailed work orders, inspection reports, repair notes, and findings for management.
• Maintain DOT-ready standards so trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

• 5+ years’ experience repairing commercial trailers, with working knowledge of diesel tractors and fleet equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Hands-on strength and stamina to lift 100+ pounds and work in a mobile service environment.
• Basic computer and communication skills for repair orders, billing, and documentation.
• Reliable follow-through to complete daily tasks safely, accurately, and efficiently.
• Experience with welding a plus.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical school degree, a plus.
• Class A CDL is a plus.
• Your own tools and reliable transportation.
