Job summary

Pete's Tire Barns Inc. is seeking a Mobile Fleet Mechanic to service customer sites and roadside calls in Orange, MA. You will diagnose and repair commercial trucks and fleet vehicles using a fully equipped company service truck.

A safe driving record and the ability to work outside a shop are essential. You will travel to job sites, perform diagnostics, repair brakes, suspension, and other systems, and keep tools and parts organized.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; automotive/technical schooling preferred.
• ASE certification preferred but not required; CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a mobile service truck to travel to customer locations and roadside sites.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair brakes, air/hydraulic, and suspension systems on trucks.
• Perform road tests and vehicle inspections; communicate with dispatch on status and ETA.
• Maintain organized tools, parts, and equipment on the service truck; ensure safety rules.
• Represent the company professionally while working outdoors in variable conditions.
