Job summary

Lift Truck Parts & Service - West Springfield is seeking a road service mechanic to join our field team in Ware, MA. The role involves traveling to customer locations to service forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment after initial training.

A service van, gas card, cell phone, and tablet are provided to support work travel and job tracking. The ideal candidate has at least one year of mechanical experience, owns basic tools, and holds a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of mechanical experience.
• Must own basic tools; employer provides tool allowance for new tools.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Efficient equipment maintenance according to industry and company standards
• Complete any required documentation, including work-orders
• Keep job site/work area neat, clean, and organized
• Observe and comply with all company policies and safety standards
• Complete any other assigned tasks to contribute to effective operation of the service & repair department
• Ensure work is being conducted safely for the employees, the customers, the public and our environment
