Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking a Field Technician to support routine and non-routine environmental sampling, monitoring, and data collection across client projects.

You will collect samples, prepare and ship them, operate field equipment, document results, and coordinate with supervisors and clients while adhering to safety policies. The role is Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and navigate using GPS/maps.
• Lift up to 25 lbs consistently, up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collect, document, package, and ship samples per protocols.
• Perform sampling of hazardous and non-hazardous environmental samples.
• Assist with routine sample preparation and analyses on site.
• Complete documents and ensure quality control of all assignments.
• Plan and execute daily routes; notify supervisor of changes.
• Deliver sample containers/materials to clients.
• Transport samples to the lab and maintain custody documentation.
• Communicate with customers and supervisors about timelines and access requirements.
• Perform on-site testing when required and record data.
• Troubleshoot field equipment and perform preventive maintenance.
• Maintain safety and operate in compliance with OSHA policies.
• Work shifts as needed, including overtime, weekends, or holidays.
