CBRE is seeking a Mobile Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance across medical, laboratory, and commercial facilities in the Dallas area. You will execute daily maintenance routes, manage facility work orders, and ensure building systems operate at peak efficiency.
You will work as part of a three‑person mobile team supporting 22 sites, including medical offices, clinics, laboratories, and parking structures.
As a CBRE Mobile Technician, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance across a portfolio of medical, laboratory, and commercial facilities in Dallas, Tx. This role involves executing daily maintenance routes, managing facility work orders, and ensuring building systems operate at peak efficiency.
You will work as part of a three-person mobile team to support 22 sites, including medical office buildings, clinics, laboratories, and parking garages.
Report to the central facility daily to coordinate with the lead technician, plan daily routes, and operate a company vehicle to reach assigned sites.
Perform interior and exterior building maintenance, including door repairs, drywall patching, painting, and other architectural touch-ups.
Maintain and repair plumbing systems, including replacing sinks and toilets, snaking drains, and addressing general system leaks.
Conduct light electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting circuits, replacing ballasts, and installing or upgrading light fixtures.
Execute assigned work orders, estimate the time and materials required for repairs, and track progress until completion.
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and other installed building equipment.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance tickets and critical service requests.
Inspect new and existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Monitor building systems to ensure optimal energy efficiency and performance.
Assist other mobile technicians with large-scale projects and support team members during overlapping assignments.
Use communication skills to exchange straightforward information. Respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and supervisors.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid Driver’s License required.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Basic math skills. Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
