CBRE is hiring a Mobile Maintenance Technician to support facilities across the Knoxville/Eastern TN area. In this hands-on role, you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of building systems while traveling between sites.

The position emphasizes independence, cross-trade work (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry), and a strong safety and service mindset. Company-provided tools, uniforms, and a company phone accompany field-based responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting 50+ lbs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems and equipment.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment.
• Review work orders and estimate time/materials; track completion.
• Support energy management to keep systems efficient.
• Inspect installations for codes and safety compliance.
• Communicate with clients, coworkers, and supervisors about inquiries or issues.
• Follow defined procedures; limited discretion in problem solving.
